Bab 302: Bumping into the Female Lead

Seeing Violet and her assistant surprised Calix but, he didn't let his feelings be revealed on his face. Doing so would make them, especially the actress feel more suspicious.

Calix didn't close the door on Leslie's side nor did he pull Calliope to hide behind him. He simply greeted his best friend's girlfriend.

"Violet, I didn't expect to see you here," said Calix calmly. He glanced at the assistant before once again looking at Violet, "Meeting Xander for lunch? Having a discussion with the production?"

Xander and Violet picked this restaurant as one of their limited dating spots because of its privacy. At the same time, several big productions tended to invite their actors and actresses to dine here.

Evelyn used to come to this restaurant because of her work commitments instead of due to her private schedule.
