"They keep trying to mess with us... Is this funny?" William thought, massaging his forehead. Things had only just started to stabilize.

Since the insect swarm, three more waves had passed without incident. William had made a few significant changes, the best being the electric field.

Just at the top of the defensive wall's corner, there was a small red button. Pushing it activated a transparent electric field. If the air around it didn't crackle every few seconds, even William doubted he could detect it.
