Anthony rolled his eyes at all the students who continued to flatter Angela. He looked at Estefany, who was sitting beside him; her complexion had improved, and the wounds on her body had disappeared. "Have you seen Perséfone?" Anthony asked. Estefany remained silent for a few seconds. "I haven't seen her," she said sadly. "I was lucky to find this group of students. In the previous one I was with, they were totally massacred," she said, trembling slightly. "What kind of tunic did they have?" he asked again. Estefany shrank in fear. Anthony could understand—or so he thought. After all, he hadn't had the opportunity to witness their sacrifices, but he had seen the results. In his mind, he remembered the child turned to stone.
