"You are a hero!" Elaina shouted, leaving Ray speechless.

"What's wrong with you?"

"I don't like it."

"Huh?"

"You are a hero to me, someone who can decide who you are is others, not yourself. Even though you don't see yourself as a hero, to me, you are. At least you have done something that makes you look like a hero."

"Me? No... I have never acted as a hero, and I never will. Everything I've done so far is just to fulfill my own desires. A hero should prioritize others, not themselves."

"Your desire is for the safety of others, right?"

"Huh?"

"You saved us because you didn't want us to get hurt, right? In that case, isn't that the same as being a hero? You saved us because you wanted to, and that is actually a noble reason."

"No! I saved you not for you at all! But I did it for myself!"

"Then tell me now... What is the real reason you saved us?"
