Link had no idea that his accomplishments were being coveted by others.

He was fervently writing, engrossed in drafting his experimental plan.

In his previous life, Link had some exposure to scientific research and various projects.

Not much, and certainly not enough to consider himself expert, but enough to make some use of before he was introduced to the research system of the Wizarding World.

After all, in the past, he had relied on templates for writing and had never conducted a scientific research project all by himself.

What Link valued was not the plan written out, but the clarity of his own thinking during the process of writing that plan.

Regarding the Silver Star flower, Link had a few questions he needed to research and verify.
