Bab 864: Chapter 49 Rainy Night

The small wooden plaque marked "Pei Ye" had hung on the door of Y4 Sword Field for three days.

Only when the Cold Moon hung in the sky once more did the door finally push open from the inside, a young man emerged with his sword, unhooked it with his finger, and stared blankly around for a moment. The Sword Field was quiet and silent, the distant sound of swords could hardly be heard.

He looked up at the sky, the first wisp of cloud was just beginning to obscure the moon.

After washing, calming his spirit, and taking a short rest, an hour had passed. When he opened his eyes and stood up, icy raindrops began to fall from the sky.

The winter rain seemed heavier than in other seasons, large droplets fell from the clouds, smacking onto the bluestone slab and quickly saturating it.

Walking on such damp ground, it was about an hour's distance from the Sword Cultivation Institute to the West Pond.
