Bab 133: Chapter 30 Encounter Again_1

An intense gust of wind struck Pei Ye's back, with a tremendous sound erupting behind him.

He swiftly turned around, to see a huge water jar exploding into a rush of water and shattered earthenware.

Amidst the water and broken pottery, a figure brutally surged out.

The flying shards weighed heavily upon impact. There was no doubt that if they struck a person, they could break several bones.

Pei Ye instinctively yanked the girl behind him while simultaneously tripping the old steward. He then had to face a wave of flying pottery shards without time to sidestep. With his forearms up and True Qi channeled into them, he deflected the shards with a mighty punch, simultaneously stepping back to move out of range.

The figure that burst from the water was moving even faster than the flying shards, and had already rushed towards the door.
