Pei Ye walked casually out of the bathroom, not encountering Zhu Gaoyang again. Instead, Ming Qi Tian was standing under the shadow of a tree near the county government's main entrance, holding a book in one hand. Two of her fingers were also holding a pear underneath the book.

In her other hand, she held another pear, half-eaten, to her mouth.

As Pei Ye approached, he noticed that the Sword Master had returned to her original snow-white jade-like appearance. How she managed to do this without taking a bath remained a mystery to him.

Of course, Pei Ye wasn't going to ask such an inappropriate question. He simply greeted her, "I'm sorry for making you wait, Miss Ming."

Ming Qi Tian shook her head and handed him the pear in her hand. "It's a gift from Master Chang."

Pei Ye took the pear, "Shall we start the swordsmanship training now?"

Ming Qi Tian nodded and replied, "We need a quiet place. Where should we go?"

Pei Ye contemplated for a moment, "Quiet… How about my backyard?"
