Xu Rufeng rushed to the hospital's surveillance room.

As he walked in, he heard the staff talking, "Finally fixed, it just suddenly broke."

"What broke?!" Xu Rufeng asked.

"The surveillance!" said the staff, "The screens just went black out of the blue, no images on any of the displays. We've just fixed it now."

Sweat dripped in large beads from Xu Rufeng's forehead.

His unease had reached its zenith.

He still had the staff pull up the recent surveillance footage. The video showed nothing but darkness, no images, no sound.

Xu Rufeng's heartbeat continued to accelerate.

With shaking hands, he called Fu Shiyan, voice shaking with emotion, "Fu Shiyan, the hospital surveillance suddenly failed! The footage just now has nothing, all black screens!"

"I know." Fu Shiyan said, "I just got a notification here saying all surrounding surveillance have been infected, no images."

"What do we do?! What do we do?!" Xu Rufeng grew more frantic.
