Bab 162: DC 1
I was very tempted to just let the Tower fall straight to Gotham like a spear but I knew that there were some Boy Scouts there that would try to stop its descent unsuccessfully and get squashed beneath it.
Gotham was out of the picture, not only because of the local chaos and insanity but also because it was just plain filthy and I'm not just talking about the trash but the very air, I was sure that if I had made a small detour to JJK before coming here and got Cursed Energy, then this place would be heaven.
Maybe I will make a small trip there before I go to Gotham but not now.
I didn't want to land in some random place for once but suddenly having a giant tower appear out of nowhere is suspicious and I don't feel like changing memories of the entire planet and changing all existing records of the world.
In the end, I just landed in Themyscira. I definitely did not have any thoughts about this island full of women, I swear, and I definitely did not hack into the island's enchantments and turn them into a trap where people could come in but not leave.
The Amazons were not very welcoming but they could neither enter or damage the tower nor leave the Island or ask the only Amazon outside for help.
On a side note, during my descent, I got a good look at the Sphere of Gods and I have to admit, what Lucifer and his brother created was astonishing. Most wouldn't understand what they were looking at but I saw that the Sphere was just a giant energy generator.
It was the source of power for the old and new gods alike as well as provided energy for magic. How was it generating energy, you ask? Simple. Everyone that used its power had to pay a price that was always larger than what they used, it was basically a loan shark of multiversal size. At least this explained why magic in this reality came with a price.
Speaking of the retired king of hell, he was currently enjoying his retirement in his bar with a beauty in his arms and a glass in hand. Superman has just moved to Metropolis a while ago but already officially started his career, Batman had his whole shit going on in his city for a long time already, and Flash had yet to receive his shock therapy.
I could go on with the list of people and what they were doing but that didn't matter, what did matter was that nothing important was going to happen for at least two months. When Start Labs would have its explosion, I would be nearby to get a good shower in all these cosmic energies that ranged from anti-matter to the crisis and anti-crisis energies.
While I would no doubt get a lot of new energies added to my NE, my real goal were the crisis and anti-crisis energies. Although I highly doubted I would get all 14 at once, I was sure I could get at least two, namely the Speed Force and its opposite, the Still Force.
Since shit hasn't hit the fan just yet, it was relatively safe for the others to go out and explore. The only ones who could kill them before I would notice and be able to intervene would be Lucifer and the naked blue guy but I highly doubted either of them had much interest in them or would take them hostage to meet me.
Since I was already in Themyscira I might as well take a look at the Motherbox, though I doubted it would be even nearly as advanced as what my hard-working cosmic ants were producing. I would say the Boxes were level 5 at most.
Well, I have two months before the particle accelerator gets launched and nothing to do till then, so why not just do what I said earlier and make a few-hour trip to JJK. There were some nice things there but nothing that could really catch the eye of a near-omnipotent being like me.
Cursed Energy, Domain Expansion, Mahoraga, Sukuna, Gojo, and so on. Although I had some of them on the Wheel of Fortune, I didn't absorb any of them for myself because that would just be boring and mean I had to get them a second time for the Wheel.
