There wasn't much else that happened after that since matters had already been decided.

They accepted that they would withdraw the proposal that had been sent to the Kamo Family and allow Kyoko to be engaged to me. But this was something that was kept to the Abe Family itself since they didn't want people to find out that Kyoko was engaged to someone like me.

Rather, it seemed like the elders were still planning to sell Kyoko off to another family or maybe even the Kamo Family again, so they didn't want to let anyone know about the relationship she had with me.

But for now, it reached an equilibrium.

It reached a point where everyone recognized that there was one large obstacle in the way.

Unless they took care of me first, no one would be able to accomplish their plan.

So in the future, it seemed that there would be more trouble coming for me.

But for now, we were allowed to leave the main manor without anything happening.
