Bab 275: Ice and Darkness

When Chi Cheng arrived at Zhu Zhiying's chambers, the Imperial Court general greeted him with a soft, yet pale-faced smile. The seasoned General appeared as if he'd been through hell and back, but he still managed a pleasant expression upon seeing the former Celestial Beast.

However, his expression darkened a moment later when Han Xuelian appeared behind Chi Cheng.

"Was there something you needed, Chi Chengxin?" Zhu Zhiying directed his attention back to the shorter male, his tired smile resurfacing. 

Chi Cheng was a tad bit unsettled meeting General Zhu…especially after their sinful and heated desires submerged the both of them in a moment of pure lust the other night. It wasn't fear that accompanied the former Celestial Beast's unsteady gaze, rather shame and disappointment.

And realisation that he would have to confess to his sins one day to his sweet icicle.
