Bab 320: Soul Stone
"Hey! Skull-head, speak human language!"
Rocket, his fur disheveled by the cold wind, suddenly pulled out a massive laser gun from behind and pointed it straight at the Red Skull in the distance.

Having read the original story, Zane had no doubt that the Soul Stone was hidden here the moment Red Skull spoke his first sentence.
He also knew what the Red Skull was about to say next.
However, Zane was different from Thanos, so he had no reason to let the Red Skull finish.
"Since you say the Soul Stone is your master, let me see."
"After I kill you, let's see if your master will come and fight me for your soul."
Before the Red Skull could react, a red glint flashed in Zane's eyes.
The Mystic Eyes of Death Perception activated instantly!
In the next second, the Reaper's Scythe flashed.
Following the death lines and points revealed by the Mystic Eyes, it pierced through the thin body of the Red Skull, instantly depriving him of life.

An orange-glowing small stone shot up from the mist and hovered in front of Zane, seemingly observing him.
The next moment, the Soul Stone began to tremble slightly, and a melodious sound echoed deep within everyone's soul.
Even the usually clueless Groot could sense the joy in the sound.
The next instant, the Soul Stone shot into Zane's body and disappeared, like a long-lost child reuniting with its parent.

At that moment, the system's voice rang out in Zane's mind, right on time.
"Integrate."
As always, Zane gave the command to the system without hesitation. He had become accustomed to the immense power the system could unleash and expected to once again witness that incredible force on this barren planet.
He wondered what his family, who had come with him, would think once they saw this power.
But to his surprise, the glowing orange Soul Stone playfully jumped into his body on its own.
Heh, this mischievous little thing.
In the next instant, the orange energy surrounding Zane lifted him into the air. The biting cold wind that approached him was instantly dissipated by an invisible force.
Boom!
Zane's body suddenly erupted with a blinding orange light, as if countless phantom souls were entering his body, only to vanish in an instant.
Soon, the light gradually faded away into the air.
Perhaps because the Soul Stone had chosen Zane as its master, the transformation this time felt much gentler compared to the previous five Infinity Stones.
Zane's mind was clear. He only felt the orange glow representing the Soul Stone condense into a faint point of light, moving from his chest and rushing straight to the top of his head.

Suddenly, Zane felt an unprecedented sense of relief. He knew the biggest problem he had faced since arriving in this world had just been resolved.
This overwhelming sense of joy must be what they call the unity of body and soul.
Before this moment, despite his body being tempered by the Power Stone and countless other forces, there had always been a hidden danger—the fact that his soul did not truly belong to the body of Zane Sy.
Otherwise, during his ascension to the six-dimensional level, only his soul wouldn't have entered the quantum space while his body remained behind.
Even though his soul had grown stronger with the addition of more spirits from the [Realm of Dead], it hadn't been enough to fix the problem.
