"Did you have no idea about that girl?" Karina was surprised when she received information from Darius over the phone.

"Yes, I didn't instruct anyone to flirt with Damian," Darius sounded anxious. "Perhaps she's one of his ex-girlfriends... Or maybe she's the girl who slept with him before Valerie left him. This can't be allowed... He shouldn't choose any girl other than you!"

"Um..." Karina bit her lower lip. "It's better if you pretend not to know about this because it'll raise questions for Damian about who informed you if you confront him."
