Bab 16: Chapter 16 One-Eyed Crazy Witch

Right after Mr. Smith left, a beautiful silver-haired woman entered the room. Her hair was moderately short. She had an oval-shaped face, blue eyes, and a Roman nose. She wore an army coat, and her left eye was blindfolded. On the right side of her coat, her name was written: Captain Aurora.

As soon as she entered, all the students shut down as if an immeasurable amount of pressure was over their bodies. All of them began to sweat.

Most of them passed out because the pressure was too much for them to handle. Only 10 or so students were still able to remain conscious.

Unfortunately, Liam wasn't one of them because, due to the sunlight, he was already weakened. So, after experiencing the pressure, he just passed out without having the chance to resist.

But Jin Wei was sitting as if he wasn't feeling a thing, even though Victoria beside him was also barely holding on.

As Captain Aurora looked at everyone, she just sighed and muttered, "One more batch of weaklings."

But then her eyes met with Jin Wei, who was acting bored as if he felt nothing. This made her eyes twist in amusement. Then suddenly, the pressure she released increased twofold. This time all students except Jin Wei, Rex, and Victoria were unconscious.

Although Rex and Victoria were still barely holding on, Jin Wei was still acting as if he felt nothing.

As time passed, both Rex and Victoria also lost consciousness as the pressure got too much for them. But right before Victoria's head hit the table, Jin Wei held her and gently placed her on the table.

This made Aurora frown, and then she released a burst of energy from her body. This time some students in the front began to bleed from their ears and nose.

And now even Jin Wei finally acted like he was under pressure, but not too much. "Just how long is this woman going to keep doing this?" Jin Wei thought with irritation.

But Aurora didn't stop and kept on increasing the pressure. Now it had reached the point where some students coughed up blood from their mouths.

Although Jin Wei felt that he could handle it if he used the star energy in his body, he decided not to since that might cause suspicion.

After holding on for a few more seconds, he fell onto his desk but still didn't lose consciousness.

Seeing Jin Wei finally fall, Aurora stopped releasing her energy. Then ten or so females wearing medical uniforms entered the room and began to heal the students using their healing ability.

After 10 minutes or so, everyone regained consciousness and looked at Aurora with fearful looks. No one dared to question her, even though what she just did to them.

After everyone had healed, the medical team left the room, leaving the whole room silent.

"Ahem, now that every one of you woke up, let me introduce myself. I am Aurora, your new combat teacher. I will teach you all about weapons and fighting." Aurora said with a devil-like smile. Everyone just gasped in shock as they weren't prepared for this and began to whisper among themselves.

"Man, I'm going to die for sure if she becomes our combat teacher."

"Me too."

"Me three."

"But hey, doesn't she look familiar to you all?"

"Yeah, now that I think about it, she does look familiar. But where have I seen her before? Maybe on TV or something."

"Oi.... Now I remember, isn't she the 'One-eyed crazy witch' from one of the original families... I mean, the Hex family."

"Yeah, it seems to be the case. She is known for her ruthless character that would kill anyone as long as they got on her bad side. And because of her background, no one dares to question her."

"I heard that because of some family issues, she left her family and decided to join the military and became a Captain here."

"Man, why does she just have to be our teacher? Why is our luck so bad?"

Everyone was gossiping nonstop. But when everyone again looked at her face, they all shut down, fearing she might do something to them again.

"Alright, now that this is done, let's go to the gym. You are all too weak and need to train your bodies properly." Aurora said with an evil smile on her face, which made everyone have a fear shiver down their spine.

After 6 hours of intense physical training, inside the school gym, almost all the students were lying unconscious, except Jin Wei, Victoria, and a few more students. While Aurora was sitting on a chair and drinking beer.

Even though Victoria and the others were still standing, they were extremely exhausted, unlike Jin Wei who was barely sweating.

Seeing the training had come to an end, Aurora got up from her chair and walked towards Jin Wei.

"Boy, what's your name?" Aurora asked with a smirk.

Jin Wei just looked at her with a cold look and replied, "Jin Wei."

Aurora was taken aback for a moment by Jin Wei's cold attitude because no one had ever dared to act like this in front of her before. But instead of getting angry, she was smiling.

"Which family do you belong to? I didn't hear any original families coming this year." Aurora asked curiously.

"I am an orphan. I don't belong to any family." Jin Wei replied with the same cold tone.

Aurora now has a grin on her face, "Good, good. Then become my student." Aurora said as she placed her hand on Jin Wei's shoulder.

Jin Wei looked at her for a moment then shook his head and said, "Sorry, but I don't want to go under any original families or military."

Hearing his words, now even some unconscious students regained their consciousness and looked at Jin Wei with full disdain.

"Who was idiot enough to say something like this in front of a member of an original family?"

"Does he have a death wish?"

"He is surely an idiot."

Everyone who was still conscious began to talk among themselves.

But Aurora completely ignored them. She was shocked for a moment by Jin Wei's words, but then her grin widened and said, "Good, good. Truly a good seedling. You don't need to worry; you will not be part of any original families or military. You will be under me from now on."

Hearing her words, the whole room was shocked to their core. Original families and military rule the world, so disrespecting them means death.

This was an unwritten rule that everyone followed, but Jin Wei just disrespected the original family in front of a member of an original family, and now he was getting praised by that same person who is known for her ruthless attitude. This was something totally beyond their understanding.

Jin Wei, on the outside, has a cold and indifferent expression, but on the inside, he is grinning like a madman. "Everything according to the plan."
