Bab 243: On a Date

The next day, Tang Shi Yi woke up early in the morning and called home before it was time for Tang Chen to head over to kindergarten.

"Mommy!" Tang Xiao had a bright smile on her face as she showed her mother the food that their grandmother had prepared for their breakfast. 

Tang Shi Yi chatted with her children for a while and assured them that she would return in a few days. Seeing her children through the screen was not enough. Tang Shi Yi missed hugging the twins in her arms.

"I might not be able to call you later," Tang Shi Yi spoke. "I have someplace to go and I'm not sure if I could return before it was time for you to go to bed."

"Mommy, where are you going?" Tang Xiao stared at her mother, acting cute. "Why won't you call us before it's time to bed."

"I'm going to meet my friend," Tang Shi Yi said. "Be obedient and listen to your grandmother. When I come back, I will bring some gifts. Xiao Xiao, Chen Chen, what would you like?"
