With a cold harrumph, the Patriarch didn't even glance at the clause twice. He threw away Scarlett out of the paper treasure and hung Ethan on his back. With a jump that took him kilometers in seconds, he vanished from the spot with Ethan in tow.

Scarlett blurred back into her human form. Beautiful butterfly wings still flapped gently behind her, but her expression was anything but calm. She looked where Ethan had vanished with trembling hands.

Her eyes grew immensely cold.

"It had been a nice few days of meeting you," Scarlett said her greetings in fluent immortal language and soon vanished into the horizon.
