Bab 200: Chapter 199 - Bad Vibes(Part 8)

"Come on, say something...speak if you wanna live," I sighed, as I poked and prodded at a mutated Goblin to try and get it to talk, but all it was doing was writhing around and screeching in pain.

Yesterday, Noine and Kalico reported encountering a mutated Ogre that spoke right before it died, which was pretty damn shocking, to say the least.

They brought the Monster's corpse back to the Guild, and I went to see it for myself last night. The Monster was then dissected by a couple of the Guild's staff, and their report on what they found pretty much confirmed it...besides the external mutations, there was one other significant difference in the mutated Ogre that isn't found in regular Ogres.

Specifically, it's vocal chords, they were of a different shape and structure to a normal Ogre's vocal chords.
