Bab 40: Chapter 39 - Meridion(Part 1)

"Hm, looks like we should be arriving at Meridion within the next hour or so, it's not much farther now," Remarked Dec, as he pored over a map.

"Hey, nice...other than a few groups of Monsters, we haven't had any problems on this journey. Guess keeping this whole thing a secret really paid off," Grinned Aura, relaxing a bit.

"Don't say that, you're gonna jinx us. Keep your guard up until we actually arrive," I replied warily, as I stifled a yawn, fighting off the fatigue.

It's the 8th of April, 1031, now, around 8 AM in the morning. We've been on the road for over forty hours now, and I'm totally beat.

I haven't been able to get all that much sleep over the past two nights, since we've been keeping watch in shifts and only sleeping for a maximum of four hours at a time.
