As they entered the boys' room, the girls immediately sat on one of the beds while the boys put the items on the floor.
"What about our old equipment?" Kell suddenly asked.
"Either we sell it to the blacksmith or we keep it and use it in case the new one breaks, after all, I do have a spatial bag now," Ian said, the others nodded.
Taking out his item, Ian put his hand inside before taking a dagger he had bought and putting it inside. Then, he put his hand inside once more and pulled out the dagger.
As for Kell, he decided to put his swords next to one another. Ian could tell the difference immediately. While his first sword looked dull, with the edges beginning to dull, the other sword was a much lighter color, that reflected the light and even looked stronger.
As he looked at the two weapons, a screen formed in front of him.
< Name: Iron Sword
Type: Sword
Durability: D
Sharpness: E (D) >
< Name: Dulen Steel Sword
Type: Sword
Durability: C
Sharpness: C >
'Looks like I can appraise equipment now,' Ian thought to himself.
From the look of it, what Kell gets is a lot better than his previous weapon, which makes sense, though he does wonder how much it cost. If he had to make a guess, it would be in tens if not hundreds of silver coins, maybe even counted in gold coins.
He decided not to think too much of it, instead observing the others.
Ana took out her sword. From the look of it, it is made of the same material that was used for Kell's sword but it looked lighter. Considering how Ana is a speed-based fighter, it makes sense.
He appraised the two weapons as well.
< Name: Iron Sword
Type: Sword
Durability: D
Sharpness: E (D) >
< Name: Dulen Steel Sword (Light)
Type: Sword
Durability: C
Sharpness: C >
He was not surprised to see the stat is about the same. Considering it is just a regular sword, with the exception of being lighter, it makes a certain amount of sense.
He then turned to Lisa, who was busy checking her new dagger.
< Name: Iron Dagger

Sharpness: E (D) >
< Name: Dulen Steel Dagger

'Looks like it is made of the same alloy as the other swords,' he thought. Now he began to take interest in this Dulen Steel. If he had to hazard a guess, either it is regular steel but named for its creator or it is a different type of alloy altogether.
Considering he lacks the knowledge of the world, it might be a good thing for him to start reading more. Besides, with their food and lodging expenses paid by the mayor, they don't need to do any commissions for the moment.
After all, they just get a new upgrade in terms of equipment so they don't need to get more money to get better gears for now.
He then looked at Fiona but soon, the appraised showed him something he did not want, but would not reject as well.
< Name: Fiona

'I don't need to know that!' he wailed inside his mind, as a certain body part began to rise. His legs moved to cover it. Thankfully, they did not see it less he would be interrogated and maybe castrated by the ladies.
He then shifted his gaze to the staff, appraising the stat of the weapon and comparing it to her previous weapon.
< Name: Wooden Magic Staff

"All of your new weapons seemed impressive," Ian said out loud causing them to look in confusion.
"You said it li- oh, right, you decided to take a spatial bag instead," Ana exclaimed, slapping her forehead as she remembered it.
"Are you sure you are fine with this?" Fiona asked. "After all, you take something that will help our group instead of something for your own use,"
He shrugged, "It is not an issue. Besides, I could channel my magic without a medium. It just lacked strength," he reminded her.
"Besides, this will help us in the long run. After all, we can take more commissions with this,"
"So, we don't need to carry the rucksack anymore?" Kell asked, looking slightly glum. Ian holds himself from shaking his head. The former jock is an exercise maniac, who knew.
"Not exactly, the spatial bag has a limit on how much it can carry. We will put the large stuff inside while the easier-to-carry stuff will be put in the rucksack," Ian told Kell, who seemed to brighten up.
'Exercise junkie,' he thought before remembering that he had promised Kell to let the other boy train him. He shivered, hoping he would not remember the promise.
"But for the week, I think we can take a break," the other looked at him in shock.
"Think of the week as a time to spend on training and resting. If I remember it, there is a training hall at the guild so we can train there, at least the melee fighter.
As for Fiona and I, we need a more open space as our spell, well mine especially can be destructive inside a closed space. I still going to ask if I can practice there though.
Of course, if you wanted to hunt some monsters to train yourself, then go ahead but make sure to always have two or more people," Ian explained.
As they mulled over what he said, they could not help but agree with the week break of taking commissions.
"So, are we just going to train or rest according to what we want?" Ana asked.
Ian thought about it some more before deciding to create some kind of schedule. "You two will need to learn the ropes from Kell while Fiona will be taught by me.
So, there should be some kind of schedule for us to follow. For the first and last day of the week, we will consider them as rest days. The rest of the week will be training days.
4 out of the 5 days will be for training in the training hall or somewhere you want. As for the final day, it will be trial by combat, with real monsters to assess how much improvement you have made. Sounds good?"
All the others thought about it before nodding, "Good," Ian said.
"Oh, and Kell," the bigger boy looked at him with a raised brow.
"Please don't kill the two," "Don't worry, I will make sure to not break them too hard. The same can be said about you though," "Oh, well, I have Heal so it will be fine,"
As the two conversed on how they planned to train their students, the victims could not help but fear for their lives.
