Bab 216: A clueless death

"Master…" the butler who had dropped to the floor at some point, staggered towards the man when he noticed his unsteady footsteps. 

"Let's go to the authorities. It's safer there…" Mr. Si never thought there would be a day he would find the presence of police authorities safer but this woman gave him an ominous feeling. He did not want to delay a single second. 

Yet just as he had approached the door, the woman stopped in her tracks and turned towards him.

"Are you here to thank me for my magnanimity?"

Mr. Si gulped down the curses in his throat and wiped his sweat with one hand, "Y-Yes, Y-Yes…"

"No need," the woman raised her hand, "Giving you an easy death is the least I can do for you," she tilted her chin to the side, "Burn them alive." 

Her words directed at the men behind her. 

And as she stepped back, the hearts of the people inside the room grew cold.
