When Matt awoke, he found himself standing in front of a decrepit, old home. Confusion washed over him, but an unexplainable compulsion urged him to enter. As he crossed the threshold, he was transformed into a young man with striking blue eyes and raven hair.
"Hello, young one," the man greeted him. "I am Asmodeus, your ancestor, the origin of the incubus bloodline."
Puzzled, Matt asked, "Why am I here?"
Asmodeus replied, "Your body needs time to heal. While it does, you and I will have a chat."
Asmodeus gestured for Matt to sit in a worn but comfortable-looking chair, and he took a seat across from him. The room was dimly lit, with an air of ancient wisdom and power lingering in the air.
"Now, Matthew," Asmodeus began, "you've undergone quite a transformation. You've embraced your true nature as an incubus, and in doing so, you've unleashed a power within you that's been dormant for generations."
Matt nodded, absorbing the weight of his newfound identity and the incredible abilities he had discovered.
Matt listened intently as Asmodeus continued to impart knowledge about his unique destiny and the untapped power within him. Asmodeus explained, "When every incubus dies, their first time marks the extent of their power. You've unleashed your full potential, but it's still uncontrolled. So, I, along with the rest of your ancestors, will guide you."
He leaned in, his eyes locked on Matt. "We may not have the time now, but every night, as you sleep, we will enter your dreams to teach you control."
Just as Asmodeus made that promise, Matt's consciousness abruptly returned to his physical body.
As Matt left, another man emerged to question Asmodeus, his head tilted in curiosity. "Why have you sealed the boy's power?" he inquired.
Asmodeus responded, "The boy possesses immense power, and that will undoubtedly attract many. I had to take measures to protect him and ensure the continuation of our bloodline. He also has power never seen before with in our bloodline "
The ever-curious man pressed Asmodeus, asking, "What did you see?"
Asmodeus fell silent, his expression solemn. After a moment, the man asked again, and this time Asmodeus replied, "I saw that the boy's unchecked power would lead to destruction. I had to intervene and take over his body to ensure it didn't spiral out of control. You remember the consequences the last time this happened, don't you?"

With a sharp gasp, Matt found himself back in the clearing, surrounded by the lifeless bodies of the witches. He couldn't help but laugh as he looked at their motionless forms. There was no pity in his heart for those who had tried to harm him.
He sauntered over to the head witch's body, smirking, and said, "Well, look who's dead now." His laughter echoed through the clearing.
Matt returned home with the grim ordeal behind him, a renewed sense of purpose driving him. He cleaned himself up and decided to call Camilla, aware that he had been missing for a week and had caused a lot of concern.
When Camilla picked up the phone, she chewed him out, her worry and frustration evident. She explained that they had even contacted the police but couldn't find any trace of him. She was furious, going on about the numerous missed gigs and opportunities during his absence.
After the recent chaos, Matt took a breather, giving himself a couple of days to recharge. With Camilla's help, he successfully managed to reschedule his missed gigs.
As Matt slipped into slumber, he entered the dream world to find Asmodeus and another man he couldn't place. He couldn't help but ask, "Hey, who's this guy?"
The man, with a friendly smile, replied, "I'm Augustus. You might remember me from Evie Bennett's journal."
With curiosity piqued, Matt asked, "So, how will we go about this training?"
Asmodeus and Augustus shared a knowing look, and both smirked. "We'll start with a history lesson," Asmodeus replied.
He then delved into the intriguing origins of their bloodline. "Do you know how the incubi came to be?" Asmodeus asked, and Matt shook his head in response.
"We're not like werewolves or vampires, created by magic means. We were intentionally made," Asmodeus continued. "We exist to balance the Sirens; "Arcadius was the first psychic to be, and his existence marked the creation of a hell dimension," Asmodeus explained. "The Sirens were intended to be his servants. Everything in nature strives for equilibrium, so nature devised a solution: we are a kind of loophole created to counter the Sirens. We share similarities with them, but we're also distinctly different. While they use their songs to enchant, we use our bodies."
Asmodeus chuckled and continued, "It's quite amusing, really. My mother was a Siren named Selene, and my father was just some hapless witch she enticed into her bed and ultimately devoured."
He explained the intricate dynamics of their bloodline and how they were designed to oppose the Sirens. "Our existence is in direct response to the Sirens' power. They use their enchanting songs to manipulate and allure, but we, the Incubi, were crafted to counter their influence. While they captivate with melody, we seduce with our bodies. It's a dance of balance in the grand scheme of nature. We are creatures of desire, yet with different methods and intentions."
Matt's surprise was evident as he asked, "How can we be a counterforce to the Sirens when you were born from one?"
Asmodeus fixed his gaze on Matt and explained, "Nature has its way of finding balance. What better weapon against the Sirens than the child they created? You see, there are three Sirens, three sisters. One is dead and imprisoned, and my mother is still out and about." He stared into the distance, his expression contemplative.
"That's why our numbers are so limited. There's only ever one Incubus within our bloodline at a time. When one of us dies, another is born. This is how it works: when you or your sister have children, one of them will become the next Incubus. But it's a secret nature keeps well hidden, and the Incubus won't discover their true nature until they reach sexual maturity. Even then, they must engage in sexual activity to fully awaken their powers." Matt absorbed this intricate information.
Matt had a burning question on his mind. He turned to Asmodeus and asked, "If your father was a witch, does that mean our bloodline has access to magic?"
Asmodeus pondered momentarily before responding, "It's an interesting question, and the answer isn't straightforward. While the core of our abilities lies in our seductive powers and not traditional magic, there's a connection between our lineage and the arcane. Some Incubi have dabbled in magic throughout history, but it's not a guaranteed inheritance. If you incline magic, it's something you could explore and learn, but it's not a given."

As the history lesson concluded, Augustus said, "Now that we're done with the history lesson, it's time for some practical training."
"We're going to teach you how to control your aura. We wouldn't want other witches trying to sacrifice you again, would we?"
Asmodeus nodded in agreement and added, "Our aura attracts our prey. When we seek, they come to us. But it can also be a powerful weapon when needed. However, before we delve into that, it's essential for you to learn how to harness and control it effectively."
Under the guidance of Augustus, Matt began the rigorous training to control his aura effectively. It wasn't easy, as Matt was accustomed to enjoying the limelight and being the center of attention. However, as with the witches, he also understood the importance of not drawing unwanted attention that could lead to danger.
