Bab 42: Swept Under The Rug

Upon hearing this, Talon's mood darkened even further.

As Paul entered the medical ward, he was clad in a simple white shirt and pants, complemented by black leather boots. In contrast to his usual wear of military uniform, he was dressed rather casually.

This was particularly odd as it was the end of autumn, with winter quickly approaching. The weather in the kingdom of Rondor was growing colder, though not as severe as in Edoran.

"Be ready Talon, we are expected to arrive in half an hour." Repeated himself, Paul, not noticing from the start that Quinn was awake. 

But the moment he did, his dark expression lightened up a bit, "Quinn, how do you feel?" 

"It's… fine." Said, Quinn, his body still hurting all over from the deep cuts.

"I'm sorry that we have to hurry Quinn, But me and Talon have somewhere we need to be." Said Paul as he started to walk out of the ward, waiting for Talon at the side of the entrance.
