"Resolved."

The problem was perfectly solved. Both the Avengers, who swore to protect the Infinity Stones, and the future Avengers, who vowed to steal them, received satisfactory answers.

"Everyone, you must be tired, right?"

"I've prepared rooms for you. If you don't mind, you can rest for a while."

After both parties reached an agreement, Nick Fury "warmly" invited the future Avengers.

Of course, that was just on the surface.

Fury's real objective was to keep the future Avengers under close surveillance.

After all, these powerful individuals, regardless of their intentions, were potential threats to their universe.

Fury needed to keep them under control. He also wanted to use the opportunity to gather more information about the future.

"No," future Captain America shook his head, "What we need is not rest, and considering our respective identities, we should minimize contact."

The future Avengers had reached a consensus before traveling through time: apart from retrieving the stones, they should not cause any interference or changes to the past.

This was the iron rule of time travel. Any influence or change to the past could create time branches and multiple realities. Even when Captain America decided to return the stones after the Endgame victory, Banner insisted on returning them at the exact moments to avoid fatal deviations.

Given these circumstances, meeting and cooperating with their past selves was already an unavoidable measure, as they had indeed alerted their past counterparts.

But aside from that, future Captain America wanted to minimize their impact on this world.

"That's right, unless absolutely necessary, we should avoid contact." Future Banner nodded in agreement with future Captain America.

What else could Fury say? He couldn't forcibly detain the future Avengers, could he?

Both sides communicated some necessary details and soon reached an agreement.

The primary focus of the next actions was to find new Pym Particles, and this task was assigned to the Avengers.

The future Avengers were to stay put and not make any moves in the current timeline, essentially doing nothing.

If the future Avengers needed to act, their actions would be under SHIELD's surveillance.

Moreover, if the search for the Pym Particles failed, the backup plan was for both parties to collaborate in researching and creating new Pym Particles or alternatives.

In short, everyone was working together to send the future Avengers back to their respective parallel universes.

"Then, good luck to you all," future Captain America said to the Avengers before leaving with his companions.

Since they had reached an agreement with the Avengers, the future Avengers no longer hid their whereabouts and walked openly in the sunlight.

They knew every move they made would be monitored by SHIELD of this timeline. It was a necessary compromise.

The Avengers also departed.

The first thing Fury did wasn't utilizing SHIELD resources to find the Pym Particles but arranging to monitor the future Avengers closely, keeping their every move under control.

Only afterward did he proceed with organizing the search for Pym Particles.

Knowing from the diary that Pym Particles were Hank's invention made the task easier.

With Tony Stark's help and JARVIS assisting, the efficiency was high.

Tony also wanted to send the uninvited guests from the other universe back as soon as possible.

Thanks to their efforts, they gained crucial clues within half a day. Following these leads was likely to yield results.

Fury and Tony then made further arrangements based on the gathered intel.

Everything was progressing in an orderly fashion.

"Sir, we have an 'extraterrestrial visitor,'"

As the investigation into the Pym Particles progressed, Coulson knocked on Fury's office door again with news.

"It's Thor."

"Just now, he appeared near our base."

Despite not having detailed information, Fury quickly understood.

Thor must be here for Loki! Otherwise, why would Thor show up at the base where Loki was being held after being away from Earth for so long?

Considering Thor also knew about Loki's deeds thanks to the diary, Fury wasn't too worried about his visit.

In fact, Fury had been contemplating how to handle Loki, so Thor's arrival was timely.

"Accommodate Thor and tell him I'll be there shortly," Fury instructed swiftly.

"Understood, sir!" Coulson quickly complied.

Fury, not wasting any time, quickly handled the immediate tasks and donned his signature trench coat.

He then swiftly reappeared at a different base, standing before Thor.

"Nick Fury, my friend, we meet again."

Seeing Fury, Thor smiled warmly.

Previously, when Thor was mistaken for a lunatic and locked up, it was Fury who got him out and helped him against the Destroyer and retrieve his hammer.

So, the relationship between Thor and Fury was much better than it was in the movies.

"How are the Nine Realms?"

Fury greeted Thor.

"The Nine Realms are not doing well," Thor shook his head. "The Bifrost is still broken, and the realms are in turmoil. I've been busy quelling rebellions."

"What happened, Thor?"

Fury frowned. Thor had the diary before returning to Asgard. How could nothing have changed?

"I returned too late," Thor said with a hint of sorrow, "The Bifrost had already been destroyed, and Loki had fallen into the abyss."

Thor didn't elaborate on the conflict with Odin or his regret.

Fury, perceptive as always, didn't press further.

"I believe you're here for Loki, right?"

After greeting each other, Fury got to the point.

Thor's expression turned serious, and he nodded.

"Just a few days ago, Heimdall noticed Loki in Midgard. He's here to steal the Tesseract again, isn't he?"

Thor asked with certainty.

"So now, we've temporarily detained him here. I hope you don't mind," Nick Fury said, shrugging his shoulders.

"This is his own doing."

Thor did not blame Nick Fury for this; in fact, he seemed to understand.

"But no matter what, he's still my brother. Can I see him?"

Thor then made this reasonable request to Nick Fury.

It was such a reasonable request that Nick Fury naturally couldn't refuse. He even personally led Thor to Loki.

"Thor?"

"Why are you here?"

Loki, behind the "glass door," was visibly taken aback upon seeing Thor.

"You've got some nerve to ask," Thor replied, rolling his eyes.

If it weren't for his mischievous brother causing chaos in Midgard, he wouldn't have had to come to Earth.

"I'll leave you two brothers alone," Nick Fury's voice sounded, sensing the situation. He turned and left, allowing Thor and Loki some privacy.

What the two discussed, Nick Fury couldn't know. But approximately twenty minutes later, Thor appeared before Nick Fury again.

"Nick, I want to take Loki back to Asgard."

"I deeply apologize for everything he's done, and believe me, he'll be held accountable. I'll make sure he faces justice," Thor solemnly stated, discussing Loki's disposition with Nick Fury.

This was exactly what Nick Fury hoped for. He was anxious to get rid of the hot potato, Loki. The longer someone like Loki stayed in Midgard, the greater the risks.

"How you deal with Loki is up to you," Nick Fury said sternly.

"I only care about one thing: this time, make sure you keep him secure and don't let him appear in Midgard again!"

Thor could only respond with an awkward smile.

"And besides, there's also the Tesseract, buddy!" Thor posed another request to Nick Fury.

Aside from taking Loki back, Odin had given Thor another mission: to retrieve the Tesseract, which was left in Midgard long ago, to repair the destroyed Bifrost. The Nine Realms' rebellion had lasted almost two years, and Thor had become quite renowned. Odin felt it was time to put an end to it.

Nick Fury hesitated. Such a valuable item as the Tesseract—he genuinely didn't want to just hand it over to Asgard. Although he was greedy, Nick Fury was rational. The Tesseract might symbolize immense power, but it also posed a huge risk. Entities like Thanos were a grave concern. With Earth's current condition, could it withstand such threats?

After weighing various factors, Nick Fury decided to hand the Tesseract over to Thor. This way, the Infinity Stones remained under the Avengers' purview, but the danger shifted to Asgard.

Half an hour later, under the witness and supervision of the first generation Avengers, Nick Fury officially handed Loki over to Thor.

Though Loki was extremely unwilling and frustrated, scheming for a turnaround, there were too many Avengers and his "cheap brother," wielding enough power to suppress Loki completely, leaving him no chance to stir trouble.

"Everyone, goodbye," Thor said. He then activated the Tesseract.

With a flash, Thor and Loki's figures were enveloped in light. When it dissipated, they were gone.

Seeing this, everyone secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Whether diary holders or not, Loki's trouble was resolved.

Now, only one problem remained: the future Avengers! But honestly, this issue didn't seem too daunting anymore. Tony and Nick Fury, within a week, successfully stole enough Pym Particles from Darren Cross, handing them over to the future Avengers.

"These are the Pym Particles!"

"Great! Our plan can proceed!" The future Avengers were thrilled upon receiving the Pym Particles. Though seven days wasn't long, it felt like an agonizing wait. They were anxious to act. Luckily, the past Avengers were reliable, delivering the crucial Pym Particles.

With no delay, the future Avengers had already decided their timeline.

"Everyone, it's been a pleasure working with you."

"Thank you for everything," they said, then activated the device, immediately traveling through time.

With a flash, the future Avengers disappeared. This solved two major issues for the current Avengers, allowing them to relax. After exchanging greetings, everyone went their separate ways.

"Sir, the diary has updated," Jarvis informed Tony as soon as he returned to his luxurious mansion.

"I see," Tony replied, opening the diary and turning to the latest entry. Indeed, new content had appeared.

"Loki's been detained for some time, and Thor's been on Earth for a while, yet New York has remained peaceful, with no disturbance!

Did the Battle of New York get prevented?

I suppose SHIELD and the Avengers aren't fools. After the Tesseract was stolen once, how could it be stolen a second time?

So, in this universe, the Battle of New York simply involved Loki getting beaten up by me?

Congrats, New York, you've dodged a bullet!

Congrats, Coulson, you won't get stabbed by Loki this time.

You won't endure that inhuman pain or beg to be killed, only to be resurrected by SHIELD.

Haha, Coulson must be the unluckiest guy, even resurrected to keep working!

But if that's the case, Coulson's special ops team might not exist.

What a pity, there were some great talents on that team!

Especially Quake, probably the strongest SHIELD agent ever. She could shatter the Earth!"
