Bab 239: Separate For A While

After returning from the police station, Kylie was reassured. She slowly felt better, especially after hitting the man who had killed her father to death.

She also began to think clearly about what she had said to Amanda earlier. She realized that anger had taken her so far that she must have hurt Amanda's feelings.

'What a fool, why did I say such a thing to her? I...' She let out a long breath, feeling guilty for her anger-driven actions.

"Hey, are you okay?" asked Damian when he saw Kylie standing still by the swings in the front yard.

"I was so stupid to say something like that to Amanda. I've never been that mad at her and we've never fought that much. Plus she's pregnant now, I feel so bad," Kylie replied.

"I see. I know you didn't mean to say that to her and I'm sure she understands."
