Bab 94: Set pride aside

Talk about wanting to inform her of something... Celeste thought inwardly. Her eyes widened as she stood still in front of the man who was yet to pull away from their outrageous position.

Cassius towered above her, his blue eyes staring deep into her violet ones. He stood still as well, watching the reaction on her face. She wasn't disgusted like he expected her to be, instead, she was surprised that he had leaned in to kiss her.

However, she didn't step back and just continued to stare. Cassius didn't move his lips either. He only did it because it was an emergency not because he wanted to, at least not now.

It was Celeste's first kiss. She had never imagined that a feathery-like kiss from him to her would leave her astounded. She could feel the excitement in her stomach, and she anticipated what next would come.

But her hope was shattered when the door closed with a thud behind them and Cassius pulled away, immediately.
