Bab 88: Rabbit thief

The guard stood before the throne for the fifth time today. His legs were visibly shaking. With head buried and eyes fixated on the ground, he clutched the cap in his hands.

"Your royal majesty... She's nowhere to be found" He reported once again.

Sinclair moved in her seat. A deadly frown relaxed upon her face as she glared at the imbecile standing before them.

The guards were too useless for her liking!

"Are you certain?" She was the one who asked.

"Yes, your Excellency" He answered the same question he had been questioned for the fifth time.

Sinclair disposed of him. "Leave my sight, this instance!" She bellowed in anger.

Benjamin, however, had a relaxed countenance as he watched with interest the scene before him. Again, he was whoring with another of his concubines in the presence of the royal family member who had gathered around the throne.
