Bab 47: I just do

The second scene was about to begin. This was the one where Chen Mumu's character, Cai Ying, would bid farewell to Li Wei's character, Han Shuo. They were meeting behind her mother's garden, where the tall flowers had bloomed into a sea of vibrant colors.

Cai Ying had harbored secret feelings for Han Shuo for years but had never found the courage to confess them. What she didn't know was that Han Shuo shared the same feelings.

Now that she was leaving to join the imperial army in the capital, they would be separated, possibly for years. This might be their last private moment together, and the thought of Han Shuo marrying someone else in the future gnawed at her heart.
