"How did you never notice the looks Rais gave you?" Skyla asked, clearly stumped.

Huria shrugged, "I always thought he was only my bland boss, never noticed because I never thought along those lines about him, never even cared to observe him much."

Mawar nodded in understanding. "Bosses can be scary and relationships with them can reflect poorly in the company."

"Hey!!! I am going to marry mine. Don't make me take the guilt road," Skyla pointed out, earning laughter from the other girls.

"Did it work?" Rais asked, handing over a mug of freshly made cappuccino to Zyair.

"Like a charm, she gave me five minutes. She is scary, hoarding my fiancée like a dragon does with his treasure. No wonder she likes rubies," Zyair complained, taking a sip of the creamy cappuccino with extra sugar.

Rais bent over from laughter at his words, imagining Huria as a dragon and sitting over jewels.
