Bab 176: Will Meena Accept Her?

Meena was waiting for them as both of them entered in all their poise. The dinner had been served and she had sent all the servants home so they would have privacy. She always did it when her son was visiting.

Zyair had his hand on the small of Skyla's back as he guided her in.

"Hello! Mom," he greeted her with respect and a comfortable smile as usual.

"Hello! Mrs Kincaid," Skyla extended her greetings as well.

Meena warmly smiled and moved forward to hug Skyla.

"It's good to have you both here, come come. We will talk over dinner."

"Thank you for inviting us," Skyla graciously added. All of them moved towards the dining hall.

Zyair pulled the chair back for Skyla like a true gentleman he was and helped her get settled on it. She thanked him with her shy smile.

Once they were all sitting down. Meena faced Skyla and addressed her.

"How are you holding up dear?"
