Bab 42: A Brand New Car

A black sleek car with a uniformed chauffeur arrived to pick Skyla up the next morning. The car was more expensive and elegant looking than her husband's silver one.

Doran threw a cursory glance at the car as he passed by it, not understanding why it was parked directly outside his house. He had completely failed to understand what someone else was ready to do for his wife where he had effectively flopped.

This was his duty and yet he had shirked away from it and someone else was stepping up to fulfil the obligations which were his.

Skyla on the other hand was stunned to see such an expensive car which had been sent to pick her up. The chauffeur pleasantly greeted and opened the back door for her so she could comfortably sit inside.

The plush leather interior and the refreshing smell of the clean interior told her that the car was brand new and hadn't been used much. She wasn't quite sure how to feel about this gesture but her cheeks burnt.
