They made their way to the cathedral of the Shining Cathedral of Radiance and asked the Pope for help with tears in their eyes.

Valerius found them immensely pitiful. Besides, one of his main purposes was to help the hearers, as only then would he complete one of his three tasks. Thus, he invited them inside. The hearers who had arrived from all corners of the kingdom went into the cathedral of the Shining Cathedral of Radiance after gaining the pope's permission.

The alchemist present inside the cathedral administered an effective amount of the elixir of drowsiness to each one of them.
