Chapter 63:- Lead

"No, I'll stay here till the end, I wish to know more about this mastermind, who knows, maybe he might be able to get rid of these two scums, whom I have to see doing all well when I have no news about Izuku's well being," said Fuyumi not budging while pointing at Kazuki and Katsuki.
Her words were turning colder by the minute.
Kazuki and Katsuki on hearing this had gone limp, unable to move or say anything.
Fearing if this continued any longer, Fuyumi might just snap, Detective Naomasa said, "We are done here Miss Fuyumi, we got what we wanted to know, a possible connection and this is the only information we have on the mastermind, with this our investigation is concluded," said Detective Naomasa as he collected the docs and stood up.
"Bummer," said Fuyumi as she stood up and left the room after shooting a pissed glance at Kazuki and Katsuki as she said, "Try your level best to protect yourself, who knows, you might be this mastermind's next targets."
Her words tensed all of them present there, as it wasn't something they could neglect, if the reason for this brutality was revenge for Izuku, then these two would definitely be attacked, sooner or later, and that was for sure.
And until they find out who this person is? Why he is doing this? Or what his relation to Izuku is? How does he know who was involved in Izuku's bullying? Who is helping him? How does he know where all of them live? Does he know about Izuku's whereabouts? Why did he wait for 6 months to strike?
There were just too many questions that needed an answer.
Before they were running blind, atleast now they had a lead, a lead which could lead them somewhere.
Once Fuyumi and the others left, Detective Naomasa said, "Well if we take into consideration that these killings were done as revenge for what has happened to Izuku, then we need to act fast, this would become a really serious matter real quick, we need to find out who all were involved in Izuku's bullying and to what extent,"
"I'm afraid to say this, but whoever orchestrated this attack did so with accurate precision, and also considered the pro heroes' shift change. I don't wish to say this, and I truly hope what I am thinking is false, but it seems the mastermind has Izuku's textbooks, or perhaps even Izuku himself," Nezu stated with a concerned expression.
Hearing about Izuku's books they all had an uneasy expression as Detective Naomasa asked, "How can you be so sure?"
"Based on the timing of the attack, I can confidently say that the mastermind had precise knowledge of the police and pro-heroes' shift changes. They knew exactly when there would be no authority around the school and planned the attack accordingly, ensuring they had ample time to accomplish their goals. This level of insight is something I've only seen in Izuku's books," Nezu explained.
When Nezu said that, all of them went silent, as what Nezu said was true.
"If that's the case, then things are about to take a turn for the worse. If the attacker took Izuku's books, it would explain everything. They would have studied the material, devised a plan, and executed the perfect crime using Izuku's knowledge. It makes sense why they waited six months after the incident involving Izuku. Six months would provide enough time to understand the material and assemble a team to carry out the attack." said Detective Naomasa in a grave tone.
Listening to this, every pro hero, police, and Nezu all had grim expressions on their face.
That's when Nezu said, "We need to be quick, double the shifts, find his books at any cost,"
"If what we are thinking is true, then All might, all these deaths will be upon us, and most importantly upon you," said Detective Naomasa
All Might just lowered his head and clenched his teeth, and fists, as he knew if what was discussed right now was true, then for the fate that these people suffered would definitely be on him, cause it was his neglect that caused such a good kid to lose, and all the valuable information that Izuku collected over the years, now fell in the hands of villains who are committing crimes using that information.
Endeavour, Hawks, Gran Torino and everyone else, Nezu, the other police, and Detective Naomasa all had their heads down, as they were as equally responsible for this, as they didn't do what was required when it was required and they were so neglectful that they didn't sniff the discrimination happening to quirkless kids like Izuku, by those who have quirks and that too under their noses.
And they knew no matter what excuse they gave themselves, to feel better, but it didn't change the truth that what happened today was because of their neglect and not doing their duties properly.
"Make sure to inform the Bakugos about this, and tell them to be vigilant
However, what they didn't know or realize was that Fuyumi hadn't left, she was just outside the interrogation room as she heard everything.
"That's interesting," Fuyumi thought to herself. "For once they said the truth, Maybe he's the one who took Izuku's books. I should follow him and see if that's true. If it is, then he probably knows what happened to Izuku and where he is. If Izuku is dead, then I can get back what Izuku entrusted me."
Nodding her head she said, "And it seems, they only care about Izuku's books, and not him, and now that someone has used Izuku's books they decided to get serious." she became angry with it.
"It seems I was correct, they actually didn't care about Izuku, I don't need them anymore, I'll do it myself, I'll search Izuku on my own, now that I finally have a valid lead, a lead which can help me find Izuku, I'm sure I'll find him for sure," said Fuyumi as she shifted her focus from the incompetence of the heroes, to what's really important for her.
Fuyumi nodded and left that place.
While this was happening what they didn't know was that the next batch of people were already kidnapped using this chaos where people were in fear, while the police were finding the culprit.
And the biggest joke was that they were kidnapped from right outside the police precinct and no one even found out about it.
But the next attack wasn't going to happen this soon, as they were going to take their time torturing them.
Fuyumi on the other hand decided to go to the crime scene and see what happened there, and see if she could find out about something important that could lead them to the mastermind.
All the while Izuku was sitting with Kaina looking at the beautiful chaos created by him, and was thinking about what he was going to do from here on out.
Izuku was thinking about how he was going to debut as a vigilante, and how he was going to make a big impact. He wanted to make sure that the hero society was completely shaken to its core, and that the police and pro heroes never got a single minute to rest.
Izuku was going to slow things down from now on because he wanted to enjoy the havoc he created. He didn't want to give the police and pro heroes a break. Instead, he wanted them to always be on the edge, just when they thought things were getting back to normal, he would do something else to shake them up.
That's why he was going to tame them so that the police and pro-heroes would do what he wanted them to do.
