After roughly devising a plan with Danzo, Uchiha Natsu, fueled by Danzo's enthusiasm, transformed into a wooden stick and disappeared into the ground, leaving the Root station.
Upon reverting to his original form, Uchiha Natsu returned to the Uchiha clan, and it was already late. In the main hall of Nanga Shrine, another Uchiha clan meeting convened, with all the elites seated in an orderly manner.
Arriving late, Uchiha Natsu walked around to the front from the side, taking a seat. The Uchiha clan members had already gathered and patiently waited for his presence. The Clan Meeting could not commence without him.
As he sat down, Uchiha Natsu nodded at Fugaku, who was standing in front, signaling the official opening of the clan meeting. The initial agenda involved summarizing the incident's history and the resulting losses.
Finally, as a father, Fugaku apologized to the entire family for the actions of Uchiha Itachi, acknowledging the responsibility he bore in raising his son. However, he expressed gratitude that Itachi's attempt to kill Izumi's and Tiehuo's mothers had failed, sparing them from additional grief.
Tiehuo and Izumi accepted the apology, understanding that Fugaku's suffering surpassed their own. Despite Tiehuo's mother falling into a coma, there was still hope for her recovery. In contrast, Fugaku lost his wife and son, leaving only Sasuke as a relative.
With the apologies concluded, Fugaku addressed the next topic: his decision to step down as the patriarch and pass the position to Natsu. The Uchiha clan members were surprised but concurred with the decision, given Natsu's reputation as the clan's "savior."
Uchiha Natsu, however, declined the position and suggested Uchiha Yamashiro, the captain, as the new patriarch. Natsu explained that the role would be unsuitable for him, especially considering his potential future responsibilities as Hokage.
The clansmen were initially taken aback by Natsu's decision, but upon hearing Yamashiro's name, they reluctantly agreed. Except for Fugaku and Natsu, Yatsushiro was considered the most suitable candidate.
Uchiha Yamashiro, the oldest member, was surprised by Natsu recommending himself but accepted the decision with a wave of his hand, suggesting that Yamashiro was more suitable.
Yamashiro, recognizing his limitations, initially resisted but eventually agreed to take over as patriarch. Fugaku, looking at Natsu and then at Yamashiro, displayed complex emotions but seemed relieved.
Natsu's mention of becoming Hokage stirred excitement among the clansmen. However, Shisui, torn by conflicting loyalties, remained silent, wrestling with his doubts.
Natsu's firm declaration that Yamashiro would be the new patriarch left the room in stunned silence. Yamashiro, aware of his new role, stood still, becoming a mere tool at Natsu's disposal.
Uchiha Natsu then advised patience, urging the clan to wait for the right opportunity. He hinted at potential actions by high-level executives against them and emphasized the need to follow his orders when the time came.
Suddenly, Shisui stood up, breaking the silence.
