In recent years, a new type of event has emerged, like bamboo shoots after a rain: various summit forums have appeared on the international stage. The most familiar one is the Eastern Development Forum, which I organized in Liangxi City. Other examples include the Boao Forum for Asia, the G20 Summit, and the G8 Foreign Ministers' Meeting. These all share a similar nature.

The topics of discussion at these forums vary, with some focusing on politics, others on cooperation, and yet others on development. The Western Development Summit Forum specifically targets regional cooperation and collaborative development among the provinces of the Western Region.
