At the roadside, Yu Jingting was beating up a man. Next to them, a three-wheeler was overturned on its side.

"Speak! Where did you take her?!" Yu Jingting grabbed the man by the neck and shouted angrily.

The beaten-up tricycle driver was almost going to pass out. He cried and begged for mercy:

"The woman jumped out midway, I have no idea either. The old man claimed to be her dad, said his maiden had epilepsy, so I didn't ask much. They even haven't paid me for the ride..."

Yu Jingting clenched his fist, ready to continue the beating.

"Jingting! I'm here!" Suizi got out of the car and waved at Yu Jingting.

Yu Jingting dropped the driver and ran hurriedly towards Suizi, his eyes red with emotion. He hugged her tightly when he saw her.

He held her so hard, as if only embracing her tight would remove his unease.

"I'm okay, that guy... he saved me."

Suizi softly sobbed in his arms. She might have proved tough during the fight with Chen Kaide but now, she felt intense fear.
