On her first day at work, Suizi was sent to buy some items by the principal.

Most of them were office supplies. The Department Store was a distance away from the night school, and there was no public transportation available. It would take about forty minutes to walk there.

Suizi suspected strongly that this was the principal's revenge for not getting the ribs.

Yu Jingting had gone to the construction site on a tractor early in the morning and hadn't returned by noon, very likely because he had obtained more work to do.

Suizi left a note for Yu Jingting, informing him of her itinerary.

After buying everything she needed and there was still some time to spare, Suizi roamed around the Department Store.

The store spans two levels, selling an array of household items, clothes, fabrics, and a few small household appliances, but no baby supplies could be found.

Suizi had been standing in front of a tape player for quite some time.
