Without delay, Gu Hongwei quickly followed Guo Nan to the Director's office of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department. The Director was on the phone. Seeing that Gu Hongwei barged in without even knocking, her expression immediately darkened with annoyance.

"Who are you? Have you no manners? Can't you knock before entering?" she said indignantly.

Guo Nan hurriedly squeezed in to explain, "Director, he's a relative of Tong Yao. Our issue is, Tong Yao's daughter is missing. She's not in the nursery, not in the ICU. We've searched everywhere and still can't find the baby. Could she have been stolen?"

Upon hearing that they were looking for a baby, the Director paused, then frowned and said, "Didn't I already tell you earlier? The baby is in a very critical condition..."

Gu Hongwei interrupted her, "What I need to know is where the baby is now."
