The creature emitted a cry like that of a baby doll, fragile and in pain, yet it swiftly grabbed Elvira's neck with incredible speed.

Elvira had no chance to fight back; he could only hold his pistol, his hand trembling as he continued to shoot the human-skin doll, from its skull and carotid artery to its chest. From close range, he saw the wounds resemble layers of an onion, bizarrely and disgustingly wrapped with hundreds of layers of human skin.
