Bab 38: Chapter Thirty-eight

Dora was on her way back to her room, or rather, the small space that Gabriel had assigned her. She had just finished talking to Ariana, trying to convince her to escape from Gabriel's clutches.

She was careful not to be seen by anyone, especially Gabriel. She knew he was dangerous, and that he would not hesitate to kill her if he found out what she had done. She had seen him kill before, many times. He had killed her parents, her friends, her pack. He had killed anyone who opposed him, anyone who defied him, anyone who betrayed him. She hated him with every fiber of her being, and she hoped that Ariana would be the one to end his reign of terror.

Forced to remain in the pack by Gabriel, Dora hoped that someday, someone would go against Gabriel and get rid of him. And when she saw Ariana and heard of her gifts, she believed she would be the one to grant her heart desires.
