She coughed, smiling sheepishly. "Ah, sorry. King, King Caleb."
The man laughed and shook his head. "Hardly. I'm not used to the title, either."
She smiled faintly. "I suppose not."
"Empress Isabelle, it's an honor to see you again." He said, offering her a small smile. "Mind I sit with you and your husbands for dinner?"
"Of course not." Isabelle smiled at the handsome man. She'd missed him, oddly enough. "Please, join us." She motioned to her husbands, then gestured to an empty spot at the table.
He smiled wider and nodded once. "Thank you." He sat down next to Alexander, who was seated to Isabelle's right. "How have you been? I heard something about a sickness?"
"I am fine." She said, nodding at the man. "I've recovered fully now. And yourself?"
"I've been well, thank you." He glanced at her husbands, his gaze lingering on each of them. "I do wish I could better have gotten to know your husbands."
