Bab 414: I'm not physically tired, I'm mentally exhausted

She face planted into her bed.

It hadn't been as hard work physically today, but she felt just as drained from her poor results.

She counted to three before a cute little paw tapped her head.

And then twice more.

Three gentle little taps.

Snowball.

Her little son's worried mrow echoed in her ear.

She managed a soft grunt in reply, unmoving.

The bed sunk as Lyov plopped himself beside her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Poor Beloved."

Isabelle wriggled until he let her turn over. "Hi."

"Hi," He replied with a warm, gentle smile.

"You look exhausted, love. Why don't you rest with us for a bit?"

She studied his face before sighing and nodding.

He ran his hand through her hair and tugged her in, leaning in to place a light kiss to her forehead. "Mmm, so tense..."

That simple kiss eased so much stress she didn't realize she was holding. She snuggled close. "That feels good..."
