Isabelle face planted into the nice, comfortable sofa.

She groaned.

A week and a half.

They'd been riding in a carriage for a week and a half now.

Which meant there was still another half of a week to go before they even made it to Ceiori!

She kicked her legs and flailed in a most immature but satisfying manner.

Snowball, who by now had begun to get comfortable traveling to new and unfamiliar places, sat at the edge of the couch, on the floor, and looked up at her with soulful blue eyes.

His little white face stared up at her with inquisitive blue eyes and the cutest pink nose. His eyes were wide open, curious, watching her.

The kitten stared for a moment before leaping onto the sofa with a meow, his fur soft as clouds under her fingers as he nudged his head against her hand.

"Mreeow..." He whimpered at her as he pawed gently at her belly, looking up at her. "Meeeooow..."
