When she headed out later, Tenshi followed behind her. Snowball trotted ahead, darting here and there, sometimes getting distracted by random objects but generally staying ahead of them.

He was an active baby.

She smiled as he happily explored the halls while they walked. The maids who passed by paused when he'd approach them and smiled kindly down at him.

Sometimes he'd barely spare them a glance. Other time's he'd sit, stare up at them, and mewl until they cast a nervous glance in Isabelle's direction and acquiesced to lean down and pet the kitten.

Guards who passed by also did valiantly to not trip over him when he'd dive between their feet for no reason.

She sighed and planted her hands on her hips, looking down at her active little kitten.

"Snowball, if you're going to misbehave I'm gonna carry you the rest of the way."
