She puffed out her cheeks as she sat in her chair, sulking. Her arms opened and she whined. "Snowball, comfort mamaaaaa."
He trotted over immediately and hopped up into her lap, nuzzling into her hands as he let out a soft meow. Truthfully she likely didn't need to call him at all, as he'd have wandered over eventually no matter what.
But it still felt nice to think he'd cuddled up to her to offer comfort.
She picked him up, snuggling him into her chest. She wanted to hold him forever. He was so warm and soft. "...At least my little baby Snowball doesn't judge meeee..."
A soft mewl issued from Snowball's mouth and he licked her cheek gently, little sandpaper tongue scratching her skin and making her giggle. It was just impossible to sulk long if her little kitten was there for her.
Sometimes she was tempted to carry him around even more than she already did, but that would be selfish, depriving him of time with his papas and of playtime.
