She awoke early, watching the sunrise as she lay curled up on her side. Her dreams had been troubled again. No doubt as a result of the stress weighing heavily on her mind. There were so many things to worry about, after all.

It wasn't just the forgery, nor the implicit intent to assassinate.

The kingdom had plenty of problems that weren't just hers, but as empress they were definitely also hers.

Today's activities included another discussion with her royal council members regarding recent issues. There was always plenty to discuss in her daily meetings with those in her employ.

Unfortunately, despite talking about 'recent issues', she couldn't talk about the forgery. She couldn't openly dig for answers about that one, because they were still pretending not to have caught on to it.

She had to continue to pretend there was nothing wrong, and the only thing stressing her was the preparations for the wedding with Octavian.
