Bab 176: I'm not following the play, I'm along for the ride

The actors appeared dressed in ornate costumes consisting primarily of black leather with silver embroidery that shone brilliantly in the bright light filtering down from the cloudless sky overhead.

They appeared fierce and intimidating as they strutted about, their expressions grim. Some were carrying weapons - swords mostly - while others appeared unarmed but still just as frightening as their fellows.

Their movements were confident and fluid.

There wasn't a single awkward stumble or uncertain gesture from them as they strode around purposefully.

She didn't know the specifics of what was being portrayed, but she could clearly tell their costumes must have been of guards or soldiers.

The crowd of masked watchers buzzed with speculation regarding what lay ahead as the first act continued, the actors marching and shouting loudly while brandishing their imaginary blades dramatically.
