Bab 147: I'm not easily influenced, I'm unexpectedly hungry

The sky overhead was dotted with clouds, and a warm breeze rustled the leaves of trees, causing them to sway to and fro, branches creaking, their leaves making the whispering sound of paper blowing across cobblestones.

The path they walked upon was narrow and winding, following the curve of a hillside above the lake. A river wound away below, and a town spread out across the lakeside.

Rows of small brick buildings stretched for miles on end. Marketplaces crowded the streets and alleys, shops lining them in thick lines as people went about their business, voices rising into the air in waves.

They passed several fruit stands, the proprietors hawking their wares. Some of those fruit sellers called for Isabelle and Lyov as well.

Tenshi eyed some dried herbs and flowers on display, but Octavian steered him to keep moving.
