Bab 90: I'm not the one complaining, I'm voicing Snowball's complaints!

There were two distinct reasons for her to be miserable today. Exceptionally miserable, in fact.

The first was that the weather was howling, pouring rain, crackling thunder and blasting wind hard enough she worried about potential funnel clouds. All she didn't need in the middle of a crisis was a tornado dropping in on her population.

The second was that she was out in it, riding in her carriage.

Another carriage. Not the one that was destroyed by the failed assassination attempt.

Though, frankly, she thought this one wasn't nearly as good.

Negotiations had been...difficult with the Kingdom of Pristan, but her informants (she didn't want to say 'spies'...) told her they had a large supply of Moonflower.

The best conclusion she could come up with was to go out herself, as Empress of Nevremia, and try to curry favor.
