Bab 52: I'm not abducted, I'm free

She dozed off in the carriage.

When she woke up, the carriage had stopped. Phoenix reached past her and opened the door, gently gesturing for her to step outside. She rubbed her eyes, yawned, and stumbled out of the carriage.

The first thing she saw was a beautiful waterfall. It fell into a small river that wound around the small clearing she stood in.

Thick forest surrounded the clearing. A quaint log cabin stood in the middle of the clearing. Flowers bloomed despite the winter season. The air was crisp and cool without carrying the winter chill.

And for once it wasn't raining.

Yet.

She gasped and took a few excited steps toward the cabin, flapping her arms.

"It's so beautiful~!"

Tenshi lit up when she squealed excitedly, darting over to her side. "Really?!" He looked towards the falls. "The scenery is beautiful."

"Mm~" Phoenix walked over with an arm wrapped loosely around Lyov's waist. "Lyov owns this land."
